I just wanted to take a second and thank you for all of the positive emails that I have been getting about the blog and helping me get over 900 views in just under two weeks. Beyonce's new "Pulse"

Beyonce announced yesterday she is to release a new scent called Pulse; and if it's anything like the Heat series it is sure to be amazing. I must admit that with  the new trend of celebrities rushing to make their own scents I was a little skeptical when Heat first came out; but out of all the celebrity scents I have smelled I must admit this was one of the best. I would definitely recommend it. In an interview with Elle B stated "Women always tell me that my music makes them feel strong and confident, and Pulse is about finding that inner power." While I am sure that all are excited to give it a try they will not be on sell until September 2011. Check back frequently and be sure to follow because I will definitely do a giveaway. W magazine's first ever music issue

Next month W is doing it's first ever music issue. What better way to celebrate the occasion than to have Beyonce and Christina battle it out with double covers. While Christina's is definitely more artistic Beyonce's has a undeniable appeal to your fashion senses. So who rocked it better? You be the judge.

New Things I've Found

I went to the mall yesterday to go Father Day shopping when Bam! I ran into one of the nicest accessory stores in a mall that I have seen in a long time. The store was called Bakers. The visuals were amazing. The store just right away appeared to be very high end but surprisingly enough the prices were good to. Here are a few looks from the web that I also saw in store that  I really liked.

(I also love the fact that most of their shoes are available in at  least four other colors)
They also have really nice "Date Night" clutches and small handbags.

An Emotionless Day

I was thinking yesterday about how a lot of the time women have a tendency to be way more emotional than men. We can argue and have a sleepless night. Men can argue and go straight to bed. Our friend can hurt us and we can hold a grudge for years. Men on the other hand will be talking in the next couple of minutes. So today I wanted to try an experiment. I wanted to see if I could get a hold on my emotions and not let them take control of me. I want to have an emotionless day. Hearing this you probably are assuming that I mean void of all emotion; but I just mean the bad ones. I refuse to get angry if something doesn't go as planned. I refuse for my feelings to be hurt if a loved one or friend doesn't hold up there end of the deal or doesn't call back or act in a way that I feel they should. Today will be a perfect day; because I will not allow anything to stand in my way. As women sometimes we are way to emotional. When a lot of times if we weren't so overly emotional or quick to nag or relationships would go a lot better.

THERE'S THE MOVING, THE LONG HOURS, AND OF COURSE THE DEPLOYMENTS... TWO DAYS AFTER WE GOT MARRIED HE IMMEDIATELY WENT BACK TO IRAQ FOR FOUR MONTHS... BUT HE LOVES AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE IT'S PART OF HIM. ON TOP OF THE MARINE CORPS WE STAY BUSY BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO LITTLE ONES.

(Brit-Brat...this is my fellow marine wife.. We met when we were stationed in NC and have been down ever since... There is never a serious moment with me and this one... We relate because we know all of that challenges that come with raising little ones with the military moment. But when my husband has training for months....she always kept me company)



I FEEL LIKE I'M FINALLY COMING INTO MY OWN... I HAVE MY FAMILY AND MY GIRLS AND I'M IN A REALLY GOOD PLACE IN MY LIFE... I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS THAT I WANT TO PURSUE AND I'M TRYING TO PURSUE THEM WITH ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME.. STRIVING TO GET WHAT WE ALL WANT...SUCCESS....
